There are many categories of taping which includes: kinesiology taping, mc Connell taping, mulligan taping and more traditional sports taping that uses adhesive tape and elastic bandages.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is an invasive procedure where a filamentous needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. It is aimed at myofascial trigger points which are hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscles that are associated with a hypersensitive palpable nodule in a taut band.It can be done on superficial fascia which is the topmost layer under skin, muscles, tendons and in the articular region to resolve pain and dysfunction

Instrument Assisted Soft tissue Mobilisation or essentially IASTM is another scope of advanced treatments which empowers clinicians to effectively treat people who have been suffering from soft tissue dysfunctions. This procedure itself is said to be present day development from customary Chinese medication called Gua-sha

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is a clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific hands-on techniques, including but not limited to manipulation/mobilization to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures for the purpose of modulating pain; increasing range of motion (ROM); reducing or eliminating soft tissue inflammation; inducing relaxation; improving contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, extensibility, and/or stability; facilitating movement; and improving function.

Sports Injuries Rehab

Injuries are typical to every sports and depends on the athlete’s tensegrity as well. There are endless injuries for which rehabilitation must be customized in accordance to the player’s ability of tissue healing. The individualized correct exercise program to maintain strength, flexibility and stability can help them to reach their track quickly after an injury.

Active Release Technique

Active Release Technique is a non-invasive therapy that resolves muscle stiffness, lost mobility, inflamed joints and pain associated with repetitive motions. ART is used to treat symptoms with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. It helps to restore free movement of soft tissues, release entrapped nerves and realign the fascia.

Exercise Program

Exercise Therapy is a sequential plan of physical exercises designed for individualised therapeutic goals. The aim is to restore normal musculoskeletal function and to reduce pain. The exercise program should be designed by physiotherapy professionals. Exercise helps to improve simple and complex injuries and conditions. During the physiotherapy treatment, exercises are incorporated as required.

Ergonomic Assessment

Ergonomics is defined as information about human behaviour, abilities and limitations and other characteristics to the design of tools, machines, tasks, jobs and environments for productive, safe, comfortable and effective human use. Ergonomic assessments (workstation assessments), helps to make the workstation ergonomically designed so as to minimise the risk of injury and maximise output and productivity.

Sports/Deep Tissue Release

Sports injuries are way different than regular injuries. Level of performance and stress on the body makes it different area to be worked upon even for same type of condition, the management and rehabilitation would be different. E.g. tennis elbow in a sports player and a housewife. The aim is to make athletes recover from injuries, and bring awareness to prevent injuries.

Physical therapists uses many equipments to enable recovery for physical injuries, disorders and long term chronic problems. They are used to reduce pain and joint swelling, reduce muscle spasm, restore functional joint mobility, increase local blood flow to injured tissues and deliver medications subcutaneously in conjunction with other procedures.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Pain syndrome is a common clinical problem of muscle pain involving sensory, motor and autonomic symptoms caused by myofascial trigger points.Myofascial release (MFR) therapy focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness. There are no. of conditions and symptoms that myofascial release therapy addresses. We use this technique extensively in our set-up and our team is highly professional and trained to apply this technique to patients in the best way.
